Our Classes

Our Baby and Me Yoga Series is a gentle, fun, and core focused Yoga flow. Supportive to the postpartum mom whos looking to restore strength, often lost during pregnancy, and ideal for any caregiver looking to get in shape while in infant company.

These classes are an hour long, designed to balance your asana practice along with your babies. We use various poses and positions to promote babies general health and wellbeing. Helping to promote hand/eye coordination, body awareness, and postural control.

It's a fun and judgment free, safe zone that focuses on community building and offers an opportunity to connect with others who are also navigating the path of new parenthood during this new stage in your life.

Strengthen your body and mind while bonding with your baby as you nurture your bodies together in a safe and supportive environment. Join us for a gentle yet effective way to reconnect with your body and enhance the parent-child relationship during this precious stage of development.

About Me

Hi! My names Rachel Ballington and I'm the creator of Mama's Mindful Yoga!

Yoga has been a part of my life for over 10 years, and my practice has helped me grow stronger, more flexible and fearless, both on and off the mat. Yoga inspires me to live each moment more mindfully.

After my first 3 years of practicing Yoga I decided to embark in a Yoga teacher training where I trained under Master Sri Dharma Mitra himself in NYC. This incredible journey expanded my knowledge and open my eyes to a much deeper yoga practice for myself and others.

In October of 2023, 1 month after giving birth to my daughter, I was super excited because I felt able to share something I'm so passionate about together with her and other like minded Mama's.

After attending a class, It was super enlightening and my feelings of love and joy for this new precious life that I held in my arms were amplified so much more because I was surrounded by other new moms going through and feeling the exact same things.

This is what had me start teaching my own Baby and Me Yoga classes. Aside from being a Mom, it is one of the most rewarding jobs I have ever done. Creating a safe space for parents and/or caregivers to get together with there precious little ones to bond, breath, stretch and maybe even make some new friends has been an honor.

Baby + Me Classes are designed for babies between the ages of 0-12 months or as long as babies are not walking yet.
